Located in the northwest of Spain (Asturias, Cantabria and Castile and León) Picos de Europa was the first Spanish National Park, declared in 1918.
Picos de Europa are made up of three limestone massifs, the best representation of the Cantabrian mountain. Beautiful landscapes, alpine wildlife, magic forests, traditional culture and delicious gastronomy are waiting for you in one of the best nature destinations in Spain.
We adapt the trip to your fitness and skill in the mountains, to make your time in Picos de Europa more enjoyable.
We offer three to ten days to learn about the natural paradise of the Picos de Europa.

Day 1
- Guests arrive in Santa Marina the Valdeon, León 17:00 – 19:00
- Introduction to Picos de Europa National Park and explanation of daily route 20:00

Description of the routes:
The routes will take place at a slow pace and interpretive stops will be made in order to enjoy and know the nature of the Picos de Europa.
* From Cordiñanes to Collado Jermoso: 9 kilometers, 340 meters of negative elevation, 1100 meters of positive elevation, moderate technical difficulty, high physical difficulty.
** Form Collado Jermoso to Remoña: 8 kilometers, 790 meters of negative elevation, 520 meters of positive elevation, low-moderate technical difficulty, moderate physical difficulty.

Hikes descriptions:
The hikes will take place at a slow pace and interpretive stops will be made in order to enjoy and undertand the landscape and nature of Picos de Europa.
** From Soto de Sajambre to Collado Vegabaño, circular hike 12 km, 430 meters of elevation gain, 520 meters of elevation loss, no technical difficulty, low physical difficulty. In this hike we will visit the Roblón de Cuestafría an centenary oak tree.
*** From Panderruedas mountain pass to Posada de Valdeón. 14 km, 450 meters of elevation gain, 725 meters of elevation loss, no technical difficulty, low physical difficulty.

From Áliva to Sotres: 9 km, 900 meters down hill, 250 meters up hill, none technical difficulty, low physical difficulty.
From Sotres to Vega del Urriellu (Naranjo de Bulnes Pike): 8km, 168 meters down hill, 900 meters up hill, low technical difficulty, moderate physical difficulty.
Vega del Urriellu (Naranjo de Bulnes Pike) – Bulnes Village – Poncebos: 9km, 1900 meters down hill, 197 meters up hill, low technical difficulty, moderate physical difficulty.
Poncebos – Caín – Posada de Valedeón: 21 km, 173 meters down hill, 886 meters up hill, none technical difficulty, moderate physical difficulty.
Valcavao – Fuente Dé: 9 km, 900 meters down hill, 200 meters up hill.
